. . . . . entries for 29.6.03 . . . . . So, I am now through watching all of the Anime Cas left me. :) Tylor I already talked about, and I watched Utena in its entirety today. I do not approve of the way this bit ends, since it *doesn't* end. Needless to say, it goes on to another "collection," the one I just watched being the "rose collection." Bugger all, though, it ends in a most unsatisfying way. The songs (in Japanese, and I read the subtitles) seem to make an amazingly small amount of sense. Like, for example, the one about the eras of prehistoric time. Uh. That one was a little. . . weird. Yeah. So now I have nothing to do again. :) I'll be forced to resume my "creative summer" which my mother suggested. Bugger all. . . oh well, I guess I'll just have to put my mind to use. . . . . . entries for 28.6.03 . . . . . I just finished watching the Tylor OVAs, and I have found three things that were really wrong about the ones that the Tylor Project didn't produce. 1) The story didn't focus specifically on Tylor himself, and Tylor's personality changed a little. 2) The drawing style was different and some of the characters and their costumes were redesigned. It pissed me off. I liked the characters the way they were, I was used to them the way they were. 3) The worst thing about it was the new music. It didn't have the same cheeky, happy Tylorish attitude. It was dramatic strings and classical. Overall it was just. . . wrong. What else. . . heh, I got Billy in trouble for being online so long so he has restrictions on him now. Sad. ^.^() I went swimming with my mom and Shannon at Bolton Landing today. At first we all thought I had gotten no color at all and was pasty as ever, but lo and behold! I have freckles on my shoulders now, and I think my face is a little less pale too. I'm happy about this. And now, Joella just IMed me. So, away I go to actually communicate with somebody. Adieu. . . . . . entries for 26.6.03 . . . . .
find your element at mutedfaith.com. > Hey. . . weird. I'm the same thing Natalie is. Though I can't really disagree, sooo.
Goddess of green. You probably prefer to be outside where you can get some fresh air! What element would you rein over? (For Girls) brought to you by Quizilla Hey, would ya look at that. I'm an Irish fiddle-playing lass!! xD Today, we shall have a list of great Cassie quotes. "It's fucking huge!" "I'll TELL you were to put your plastic Jesus!" "I love you, Pikachu." "Frickety frack. . ." "I like my car. It goes vroooom." "Du bist ein Stuck Kuchen! Is that it?" "I don't have a mousey brown personality!" "He CALLED me, and that means he MISSES me. . . oooh!" "I will kick you, slowly, brutally, and with a spoon! . . . you see, you sort of tie it to your boot, and. . ." Tell the Erin if you think of others!! . . . . . entries for 23.6.03 . . . . . So yeah, what all this boils down to is. . . We made it, guys! Scream and dance in your moment of freedom!!! WHEEEEEE!!!! . . . And in the fall we'll put up with Jovill, block scheduling, and. . . How many days 'til CTY starts? . . . Oh yes. I keep on forgetting bits. So, here's a major bit. Today is a very official end of things, and a very official beginning of things. It is the end of school this year. It is the end of eighth grade. It is the end of middle school. It is the beginning of this year's summer. It is the beginning of being a high school kid. Today is the first day of the rest of my life! :) "I'm not going to talk about your past. . . you were there." ~Jerehme Bamburger That's what Jerehme said in his funny little speech to the eighth grade class. I just find the fact that he was chosen to speak as very amusing. So yeah, he talked and so did. . . one of those very perky chicks did!! Hannah Dillon. I hope I spelled her name right. She was wearing a cute black dress with hot pink bits. Then there was the dance, which really was like every other dance, i.e., I did not dance and it kind of made me sad but I stayed perky. I received lots of compliments on my hair and outfit and so forth, one from the eighth grade chick who gets the prize for most fashion sense, Maritza Torres. That made me happy. Speaking of prizes, eighth grade awards were dispersed through Jam Day today (which was not very impressive, if you ask me). I did not get Most Original 8-1 Girl as I expected I would. Instead, Emily Payton got that title, which I can fault no one for since she's definitely as worthy as I am. Ah, but I *did* get an award. Instead of most original I got most artistic/creative. Kochie got a whole mess of awards, which I grinned at and cheered for. Natalie got a couple of awards, Katelyn didn't get any (aw Katelyn, you never get any of the action), er. . . Michelle got something like most energetic or most talkative. I don't remember what she got. (This blog-thing is a bitch, by the way.) They left out the end-of-the-year quotes from the video, which made me sad. :( But never fear, because at least you'll know my quote, and that's what's important, isn't it? ^.^ "Live your life in a moment. Then live forever. Don't fade away." ~Terry Pratchett, Soul Music And. . . I think that's finally it. ^.^ " " "Maybe they're Jewish?" ~Natalie Burke Alright. That sounds politically incorrect, but really!. . . really it's something straight from the dreams of one Natalie Burke. Apparently she had a funny little dream a brief while ago consisting of these crazy spirits flying around and killing people. Someone in her dream suggested: "hey, maybe they're Jewish!" And it actually makes sense. If I had been killed in a gas chamber, or no, not QUITE killed in a gas chamber then thrown in the cremation pits, well, yeah. I'd be pretty pissy too. So yeah. . . what if they're Jewish!? So yeah. It's currently 84 degrees, humid and sunny, sunny, sunny here in Niskayuna, New York. I took a nap after I got home from school and ate ridiculously curry-ful rice for lunch. I awoke to find myself unpleasantly surrounded by wet, warm air. I have taken measures against that by jumping in the cold shower for a few minutes, not drying myself off at all and throwing on a tank top and putting my soaking, sopping wet hair up. What say ye to that, foul weather!? GNYAH! . . . . . entries for 22.6.03 . . . . . Remember me? Yes, I'm alive. First of all, some quotes which I have been meaning to put up for an obscenely long time. "It's a brigade of suicidal chipmunks!" ~Linda Sherman "Oh, so we're talking about CHARLIE again. . ." ~Natalie Burke Aah, and there are others, oh, there are others. I've forgotten them, which is a crime against humanity, really. They were very amusing. This new bloggerthing hates me, too. Ah well. I might get Final Fantasy Origins today, because I am rather bored of re-playing Dark Cloud and Pokémon Crystal. Hrm. And. . . godsdammit, you know, I had a lot of good stuff to say and it just totally skipped my mind. It sucks. Tomorrow is the last day of school. Jam Day. Finding out who got the eighth grade awards. I got most original 8-1 girl. I know this because everyone is informing me that they put me down for that. I also know that Kochie and Natalie tied for most original 8-3 girl. How crazy is that, eh? I don't think I got any other such titles. I am going to wear the Spring Statement (for those who don't know, well, I'm not entirely certain you want to) tomorrow just to proclaim exactly *how* original I am. It's so cold and miserable lately. Goddamn jetstream, why can't you point the right way!? You know!? come home? |
