Crook: A businessman without a shop. ~Brendan Behan "Yes, I seduce moogles in my spare time." ~Cassie, also while wearing a short skirt "Teach me, Mogster!" ~Cassie, seductively, while wearing a short skirt I'm listening to Venus in Furs by Velvet Underground. Yay. Heheheh. Any song quoted in Sandman is pretty damned cool, and highly amusing. Gasp! I haven't blogged in a while. Well, anyway, Cassie is back home, I want a coat, and, uh, yeah. Boring day. Shopping. ::stabs the teenybopper population, repeatedly:: . . . . . entries for 25.11.02 . . . . . So yeah. Went closet-digging. Found cool bits of Cas's old wardrobe. Adopted some of them. Found one flame shoe, but not the other. Curses. Curses! Powerpoint presentations are easy A's. They kick ass. Hope he's not collecting the paper storyboards. Heheh. . . well. Anyway. Tech class. More fun for me. Shiny new macs. Histograms in math are easy. English is fun. Can't wait to get back things. Um. Deine Mutti bist ein Hemd!!!!! Done. ^.^ so yeah. ^.^() I haven't blogged much lately, have I? Oh well. A cynical quip for ye: Myths: Someone else's religion. ~Caroline Llewellyn . . . . . entries for 22.11.02 . . . . . Cynical Quip of the Day! Celibacy: Not an inherited characteristic. ~Nigel Rees My sister is amusing when slightly tipsy, in a way. What a bizarre thing it is, to have a sibling of that age. . . . . . entries for 21.11.02 . . . . . So yeah. Other than my cynical quips, my day is fine as well. ^.^() My life is exceedingly ordinary lately. I was graded on a cheerleading routine today, in my group in gym. Heheh. Amusing, but sad. I have a book full of cynical quips. I have also been denying the quips their owners; the first quip, the definition for kiss, is F. Scott Fitzgerald. The witty mind behind the definition of pen is Marty Feldman. And the man quote is the work of none other than Mark Twain. ^.^ No! I don't come up with them! I'm not that smart!! o.O Cynical Quip of the Day! Man: The only animal that blushes - or needs to. . . . . . entries for 20.11.02 . . . . . That definition reminds me of FFVIII, and Laguna. Anything that reminds me of FFVIII and Laguna makes me happy. :) Cynical Quip of the Day! Pen: What is mightier than the sword - and considerably easier to write with. . . . . . entries for 19.11.02 . . . . . (CQOTD will now be a permanent fixture upon this blog. ^.^) Cynical Quip of the Day! Kiss: What originated when the first male reptile licked the first female reptile, implying in a subtle, complicated way that she was as succulent as the small reptile he had had for dinner the night before. . . . . . entries for 18.11.02 . . . . . Mreh. However, beau may *not* stay at residence--no overnight. Movies. Eight Crazy Nights. Heheh. Horde. John? Maybe John. Kochie/Shannon/Natalie. Heheh. Heheheh! . . . . . entries for 17.11.02 . . . . . Got permission from mother for beau to come up after Thanksgiving!! YEEES! YEEEEEEES! (I feel like I should be putting up a disclaimer for that last post. oh well. heheh.) DeathByMonkies88: DUDE! Greatest. News. EVER. Livid Phoenix: ::listens to They're All Out to Get You:: Livid Phoenix: Yeah? DeathByMonkies88: Just so you know, this beats out the FFVII sequel in terms of kick-ass-ness. Livid Phoenix: no way. Livid Phoenix: NO WAY! DeathByMonkies88: Yes way. Livid Phoenix: o.o tell me. Livid Phoenix: NOW. Livid Phoenix: yeeees! Livid Phoenix: WHOOHOO! DeathByMonkies88: Was I right? Livid Phoenix: GYAAHAHA! must blog! DeathByMonkies88: Of course, this all depends on whether I would be allowed to use that fold out bed downstairs where Cassie's guy friends used to sleep. ^.^ DeathByMonkies88: I even have finances for it! My mothers boss hired me to rake his HUGE lawn for 100 bucks. Livid Phoenix: ^.^() no worries. DeathByMonkies88: brb. Go let your mom know. ^.^ YEEES! YEEEES! YEEEEEEES! Charlie dissapeared again a long time ago. I haven't talked to him since September sometime. I miss him. Mreh. But Julie IMed me today. o.O We're a lot alike over IM. Sort of. She reminds me of my sister, in a way. But I still miss Charlie. I guess he's bogged down with school and suchlike, but it's sad. And I miss him. And I'm going to shut up now. . . . . . entries for 16.11.02 . . . . . "I'm very proud of my criminal heritage!" ~My Beau AAAAAH! AAAAAH! THE DARK GENIE IS SCARY!! AAAAAH! (if you haven't played Dark Cloud in two months and only have two ultimate weapons, it's a bad idea to go Genie hunting, isn't it?) . . . . . entries for 15.11.02 . . . . . "What's so sexy about a thumbnail?" ~Natalie Hmm. Y'know, a day like this leaves me asking, "why don't you try playing two instruments, one of them bloody enormous?" but then I realize that's an irrelevant question because that would never happen due to someone's lack of responsibility and total bitchiness! ^.^ I'm done. So yeah. Today was good, other than Megan telling me to "watch my instruments" when I was trying to get off of the bus without killing anyone with my lovely french horn and viola. I didn't even touch anyone with them, but she mouthed off at me anyway. I think she enjoys getting irrationally angry at people who aren't in her circle of friends. So yeah, now I'm *really* done. Science test. o.O Easy. Practical thing with ethylene glycol. Heheheh. Poison the reservoirs. Drink antifreeze. Yum. Heheh. So yeah. Um. . . not much blogging material to speak of. Talked to people in general. Peter Trask, short blonde male friend of mine, hanging on some chick or another, I don't remember who, and he just broke up with his girlfriend. Sad. Typical. Um. John in the pseudo-Nazi coat outside at kickball, sitting on sidelines, talking to Emily. No surprise there. ^.^ Mud on green jeans. Baaaad. Away from computer on phone too long and both Kochie and Billy signed off. BAAAD. Oh well. . . I don't like today, or yesterday. I don't know why not. I just. . . don't. . . . . . entries for 13.11.02 . . . . . Germish lesson today, children! We're learning some new nouns which your dear Lehrerin (that's female teacher for all of you nicht-Deutche sprachen fiends out there) finds infinitely amusing. der Rock: skirt (masculine.) die Hose: trousers (feminine.) and, my favorite, der Gürtel: belt (masculine.) Why is it funny? You figure it out. ^.^ . . . . . entries for 12.11.02 . . . . . CassieSher: Baklava! CassieSher: Baklava Baklava! Livid Phoenix: Yes. ^.^ CassieSher: Baklava? CassieSher: BAKLAVA! Livid Phoenix: I will. Livid Phoenix: No worries there. CassieSher: Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaklavaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! "Sleep is good. . . **as an afterthought** especially in bed." ~Shannon "Eyebrow eyebrow." ~Moi "Hey, if you're gonna ask me to roll over, at *least* wait a few years?" ~My Beau . . . . . entries for 11.11.02 . . . . . My new shoes, the weird high top/hiking boot purple things have inspired next year's #1 choice for Halloween costume: Zanarkand blitzer!! Goggles, braided hair, and sexy black and purple uniform--it'll be awesome!! So like, Natalie and I trade CD's for the weekend a lot, and I always get her Pink CD. There's this one song that's pretty angsty and I like it a lot. A lot of them are angsty, if it comes to that, but I don't know the title. I don't know *any* of the titles. "Mama, please stop crying, I can't stand the sound, your pain is painful and it's tearing me down, I hear glasses breaking as I sit up in my bed, I told dad you didn't mean those nasty things you said. . ." So yeah, that's just part of it. It's got a pretty cool violin/viola thing in the background, too. Angsty! ^.^() Someone who likes angsty things this much has got to have some sort of issues. . . . . . entries for 10.11.02 . . . . . Gah. Wonder if Billy's party is still going on? Probably not. Hope he had/is having fun. He hasn't been online all day, at least not when I've been. I've been kinda dead though, all things considered. (Mother just took my temperature--it's a little over a hundred degrees.) My appetite has left me entirely due to my sickness. Even my raw, crunchy goodness Ramen noodle soup is totally unappetizing to me. I don't even want to touch that dark chocolate raspberry that my dear mother got for me. Mreh. . . but they're so good. But I feel so un-me. I think I died. That's my favorite theory. I would rather like to be unsent. I could be Auron, or Belgemine, or Seymour, or Mika, or Yunalesca. . . or someone. It'd rock to be schizophrenic supervillain Seymour or smooth-talking Yunalesca. . . even though they all get sent, or destroyed, or whatever happens to them. Auron or Belgemine would be the coolest ones, since they leave peacefully and they're good guys. ^.^ Belgemine is my ID at BTM, which is on my sidebar but I'm probably getting booted from it since no one ever posts there, especially not me. So like, my mom and I had another late-night shopping expedition. I got new boots--two pairs of new boots. One of them is tall, floppy-ness leather. Those ones are really classy in their nature. The others are just bizarre. My mom classifies them as "hiking boot things" and I refer to them as hightops. They're purple and black and they're very cool. So anyway. I think I'll go try to eat a slice of that chocolate raspberry, just to assure myself that my tastebuds aren't totally out of whack. Gah. I've been pretty sick of late. Last night I was pretty much wasted, and today I feel kinda weak but mostly better. Shannon isn't sick (she was over at my house last night and ate all the same stuff I did) and neither is my mom, so I dunno what's wrong with me. Oh well. Seems I'm getting better. I also rented two video games to play while Shannon was over, and over the weekend in general. I was playing Spyro: Return of the Dragonfly while she was over, mostly, then when she left I busted out The Bouncer, which is mad crazy hard because I'm bad at fighting games. I mostly got it 'cause the fellows at Squaresoft who did the music for it are also taking on Final Fantesy X-II, due to the fact that Uematsu is bogged down with FFXI and FFXII. Maybe it's just the genre of game that makes it different, but the music isn't very creative and, all in all, kinda sucks so far as I've listened to it. I also picked the weakest character for this single-character part of the game, and, yeah. I can't do a damned thing with him. The game is very confusing, very hard and overall? No, I don't like it. ^.^() Spyro: Return of the Dragonfly, on the other hand, is done by Universal--just like the classic three, only Insomniac is cut out, and it just isn't the same if it isn't Insomniac. The graphics have their ups and downs. Sometimes, when you've just entered a new level, the graphics get choppy when you move. The water graphics are pretty damned cool, though--when Spyro's walking through water, there're very realistic ripples. On that note, the loading times suck. It's pretty hard to control Spyro, too. One definate thumbs up of the game, though, is that they totally Japan-ed it up--one of the levels is a Japanese dojo with sakura (cherry blossoms, for those of you who aren't Japan buffs) petals falling all over the place, rice paper walls, rice patties, and Dragon-senseis (senseis!) who use wise proverbs and call our little hero Spyro-san. Grasshoppers are also running around as fodder, and fancy that--the enemies have bos. ^.^ Pretty cool, that. Some of the names of the dragonflies are Japanese, as well. Also, in the island level, where you save pigs which steal the Professor's old "aha!" thing, there are red (terra cotta. . . heh) dragonflies by the names of Socrates and Plato. Overall, it's alright, I suppose--the Japanese bits saved it from total rejection on my part. Oh yeah--the voice actors are all pretty much original, except for Bianca's, whose voice is too squeaky and non-evil. She and Hunter are together now. So play the damned game, you'll have your own opinion. (The Bouncer is for people who like Squaresoft, being confused, and fighting games, all at once. In other words, not me. ^.^) What else did I do lately? Nothing to speak of. Billy's party commences in an hour and fifteen minutes, far far away in New Jersey--kudos to you, lad, wish I could be there. . . . . . entries for 8.11.02 . . . . . Today was an okay day. This is a long weekend. I will blog about useless things and be happy. As will you. Be happy! Or else! . . . . . entries for 6.11.02 . . . . . and, as an afterthought, the English versian of Melodies of Life is very sad. My favorite Final Fantasy music site is here, if you should want to look at the lyrics. I'll put some of the most heartbreaking lines here for those who are too lazy. ^.^ Here they are: "Our paths, they did cross, Though I cannot say just why; We met, we laughed, we held on fast, And then we said goodbye, But who'll hear the echoes of stories never told? Let them ring out loud 'til they unfold. "In my dearest memories, I see you reaching out to me. . ." "All of these disposable razors led to a disposable society!" ~Mrs. Cavallaro "I love y-. . ." ~Kochie So yeah. Disposable Society may be John's new band name. ^.^ I feel so loved. Hum, what else. . . oh yeah, I have a quote from long, long ago that needs to be put up. "Erin, I hate to say it, but. . . freedom of speech this!" ~Kristen, right before flipping me off in a comical manner I was singing Bohemian Rhapsody. She doesn't like Queen. o.O How perplexing. . . . . . entries for 5.11.02 . . . . . . . . on that cheerful note, I'm typing up my science lab report. We switched groups today. My group was really bad in terms of experiments before but good in terms of happiness and it's better academically now, I think, but it's TERRIBLE socially. . . no talkative or friendly people, at least not towards me. (I miss you, Emily! ;_;) So yeah. Life. . . is ordinary. I want a new computer. If I could wish for anything it'd be to have all of the junk that we don't need or messiness cleaned up/removed from our house, so we could get the damned thing refinanced already. :P BlueStarz19: hai haiz erin! Livid Phoenix: DU BIST EIN PAAR KEKSE!! BlueStarz19: did u jus call me a peice of cake? Livid Phoenix: No. BlueStarz19: a pile of crap? Livid Phoenix: I called you a few cookies. ^.^() Livid Phoenix: Du bist ein OBSTKUCHEN!! BlueStarz19: .........................................oh my dear god. Livid Phoenix: you are a. . . Livid Phoenix: FRUITCAKE!! YA! BlueStarz19: damn. BlueStarz19: (blog it!) Livid Phoenix: ^.^ of course. BlueStarz19: thank u. Think I'm too easily manipulated by my friends? You're probably right--when it comes to blogging. :) . . . . . entries for 4.11.02 . . . . . Haha. Pajamas have NO right to make someone feel this sexy. xD . . . . . entries for 3.11.02 . . . . . "So I kicked his ass. . . IN PLAID!?" ~Not Really Inu Yasha . . . . . entries for 2.11.02 . . . . . Wow, I'm really far behind in my blogging. Okay. So like, Shannon and I both found a lot of purple M&Ms in our Halloween candy. Are peanut M&Ms SUPPOSED to be purple at this point in time? It confused us mightily, as both of our packages of M&Ms consisted largely of purple M&Ms. . . Oh yeah, and Yunalesca is painful to fight. I have to go level again. I don't WANNA level 'til I have holy, but I suppose I have to. Life sucks. Oh well. I beat her last time without holy, I think. . . Halloween was fascinating. I went with Natalie and wasn't out for very long, but we sang stuff by Queen and Janice Joplin excruciatingly loudly. Note: Do not sing until you feel you are going to faint, because you might actually do so. Oh yes. Quotes of late: "Can we sell Satan?" ~Jerehme "Frankenstein is hot." ~Shannon (who was the bride of Frankenstein for Halloween. . .) So, hum, what else. . . it's Saturday. I'm happy about this. But the guy for refinancing is supposed to come and look at the house on Monday and we CANNOT have it clean by then. . . it's impossible. So yeah, that's not so great at all. I think that's it. Smack me if I forgot something, anyone who would know. come home? |
