This is why Great Books open admission policies are so great.. and so terrible. You know, there's an Attic Greek word that means both (great and terrible). Well, you don't know, because you haven't booked it greatly. But there is, I tell you.

Anyone who demonstrates that they really are willing to put the work in and understand what they're getting into we pretty much accept. We end up with all sorts of strange last-minuting artists and theatre kids and people who hated high school as a result, but a damn lot of them are smart as hell, at least.
